GOALS
Your child will have two learning goals at a time. This includes a Math goal and an English goal. As the year progresses your child will take ownership of their individual learning goals and will be creating and self-monitoring their own goals. Students will have a goals book where they write their goals, how they will achieve their goal and how they will know they have been successful in achieving their goal. This book will also display evidence of their goal achievements. There is no time allocations for their goals, both learning goals are individually and self-paced.
We encourage conversations with your child about their goals. If your child brings their goals book home to share their goals and learning it is extremely important the book returns to school every day.
