School Procedures

Welcome to Woodhill State School 2019

Below you will find a handy list of frequently asked questions.

School Times

School commences at 8.40 am

First break 10.45 am - 11.15 am
Second break 1.15 pm - 2.00 pm
School finishes 3.00 pm


A tuckshop menu will come home on the first week of each term (or alternatively it is accessible on the website) Tuckshop is run by the P&C and staffed by parent volunteers. 

It is  open on Tuesdays only, however orders need to be in to the school by Monday morning.

Please place your order on a paper bag with your childs name and class and please provide a separate bag for each break (eg one bag for first break orders and another bag for second break orders).

Tuckshop is not available the first week of each term.

Please note: we do not have EFTPOS and credit card facilities at the school.

School Payments

Payments for incursions or excursions can be made in two ways.  Firstly, we can accept cash or cheques at the office on either a Thursday or Friday or payments can be made to the school through your internet banking. 
Please make payments to Woodhill State School
  • BSB 064 400 Account number 00090138
  • leave your surname
  • state what the payment is for (eg Smith, Swimming)

P&C payments

Payments related to the P&C (Uniform and Billy Cart Derby).
Please make payment to Woodhill State School P&C via internet banking to:
  • BSB 633 000 Account number 146 031 984
  • leave your surname
  • state what the payment is for (eg Smith, Uniforms) 
or payments can be made by cash or cheque can be dropped into the at the school office on Thursday or Friday.

Uniform Shop

Uniform Shop is run by the P&C.  Orders can be placed at the office any time and they will be filled on Friday and left at the office for your collection.

Please ensure your child has the correct uniform and school hat.


If your child is away from school for any reason, please contact us and let us know.  You can either phone the school or send a note in with the child on their return to school.  If we are not contacted by the carer/parent then the absence is noted on the system as an unexplained absence and an SMS will be sent to the parent.  If there is no response to the SMS, then an unexplained absences letter will be sent home when your child returns to school. 

Student Banking

Student banking is administered through the Bendigo Bank.  If you would like your child to participate in student banking, please contact the office for an application form.

Banking is currently completed on Thursdays so bankbooks need to be at school on a Thursday morning ready for processing.
